…they have all taught me a huge lesson about myself.
Over the summer, I had the immense honor and pleasure of interviewing Author and Speaker Agapi Stassinopoulos for Bella NYC Magazine (The Holiday Issue, pgs. 56-57). What a kind, genuine and wise woman 🙂 I was taken aback by her wisdom when after our talk, she said to me, “Sweetheart, you’re like and old soul. You are like the Goddess Athena.” I did a double take.
A few months before meeting Agapi, I had attended Patty Lennon’s Mom Gets a Business Conference. She had placed goddess cards under everyone’s chair and when it came time to pull the cards out , there she was… goddess Athena under mine (whom by the way also happens to look like me…talk about sayin’ AMEN after that one!).
The Athena card says “You know what you have to do. Trust your inner wisdom, and take immediate appropriate action without delay.”
From as far as I can remember, people have come to me when they need guidance, clarity or to be reminded of what is important. I am humbled by that opportunity because I too fill my cup when I am able to do that for someone else.
The lesson was to embrace that wisdom and own it. To acknowledge that I am doing that for others and to stop doubting it because in doing so, I am staying the course in my own journey.
Agapi and Patty have never met and they are both spiritual, heart centered women whom I’ve come to admire. God doesn’t play when He’s trying to send you a message.
And yes, this chic Athena and I…we’ve become BFF’s 😉
