It’s been 8 AMAZING years since I officially started this blog…and boy has it led me to some fabulous experiences!
Blogging gave my thoughts a voice, when I thought I had lost it. It has connected me to some pretty fabulous women and continues to inspire, motivate, and serve as a resource for women living life, building a business and doing the motherhood dance.
I am excited to share with you today the 8 Most Fabulous Highlights of VCoppes.com!
2008: My first blog post and vlog…brace yourself!
Mommypreneuring is serious business…
As if being a stay-@-home-mom wasn’t overwhelming enough…here I go, starting my own business.
The last year has been an amazing one. Hard, but truly amazing. In between diaper changes, teething and wire-wrapping I’ve managed to be mom, wife and jewelry maker…and still kinda keep it “together”.
I cannot complain or take for granted one second of the ride. I’ve been blessed with a healthy baby boy, a supportive husband, and a jewelry business that has allowed me to express the creative being within me.
Many sleepless nights, cuts on both hands, burns from glue guns and yes…bottles and sniffles…helped create enV by Vanessa Coppes.
This path has allowed me to discover that women really are superwomen. That yes, we can do it all…and still manage to put on lipstick (some days).
The most important recognition has been that dreams do come true. If you really work at it, and are honest (with yourself and others) every step of the way, your efforts will be rewarded.
I know I knew this and more before…but when you are inspired and your spirit is uplifted in the sweetest way… you feel capable of holding the world in your hands.
2009: My First Interview About My Business.
Why You Need Passion to be Successful in Your Business. You can read it HERE.
2010: I opened enV Jewelry and Boutique with the incredible help and support from Caryann Rigano Concilio and Amanda Intoccia of BAMBOO Salon in Staten Island.
Talk about women stepping up and out for each other! I learned so much from Caryann, her family and her crew. Growing a business is no easy feat and her example of integrity will stay with me forever.
2011: My C.H.I.C.A. Interview with Courtenay Cooper Hall, Editor-In-Chief of BELLA New York.
Not only was this day the start of a fabulous friendship, but also the start of my work with BELLA. She took a shot on me and boy, what a ride it’s been!
2012: I met and partnered with Lynette Barbieri and together, we launched ETTWomen!
ETTWomen is a community of women entrepreneurs that network with intention. Lynette’s friendship and partnership have been a heaven sent and the work we are doing together is my ultimate why: bringing women together in support of one another. Together, we achieve more!
2013: ETTWomen launched its first annual The Power of Connections Conference!
…and boy was it epic! It’s only gotten better each year! We are so blessed with the connections we’ve made throughout journey! It’s been noting short of amazing. You can join us this year at EARLY BIRD pricing HERE!
2014: I published my book and I met Oprah Winfrey.
In my book 5 Steps to Fabulous: Choices for Living Beautifully, Inside and Out! I candidly share my journey towards grace. It is not just a guide for looking and feeling your best everyday; with a lot of humor, spirituality, radical self-love and authenticity, I share an abundance of lessons for women who want to live purpose-filled lives, while rocking red lipstick. You will cry, laugh and most importantly, accept and embrace the awesomeness of the beautiful being you are.
Pretty epic year.

2015: My life took a complete 360º turn.
When the dust began to settle…I wrote my most vulnerable blog post to date. The Deceptive Narrator is raw and honest, which is probably why it resonated with so many of you.
8 years and still many more to come. I thank YOU for reading, sharing, the emails, the messages… VCoppes.com would not exist without your continued support.
