Makeup: To Wear or Not to Wear?

The quality of what you do does not depend on your appearance. However, many professionals are looking for ways to best represent the work they do.

Did you know that wearing an appropriate amount of makeup represents an attention to detail?

Wearing makeup in a professional environment is important because it affects the perception others will have about you. Wearing makeup is also seen as the finishing touches in the grooming process. It ranges from light and natural to heavy and dramatic.

It can be simple and take as little as 5 minutes to apply.

Here are four easy steps to help enhance your features:

  1. Have your brows professionally shaped. Then, use a brow pencil or shadow to help fill in faint gaps, give symmetry to your face and frame your eyes.
  2. Using eyeliner and mascara will define the shape of your eyes helping them stand out.
  3. Applying a little blush will give your complexion a healthy glow and also dimension to your cheekbones.
  4. Wearing lip color will define the outline of your lips.
