F.E.A.R.: False Evidence Appearing Real.
We all fear something. If we let it seep into our lives, it has the absolute ability to paralyze us and keep us from doing the things we want to do. This challenge reminded me of this post I wrote almost 2 years go. Through the exercise of recognizing, writing down and sharing with others -aka being vulnerable- I can honestly say that that process has taught me to rise and keep moving forward.
Of course there are things I am still afraid of, I exercise my fear of public speaking weekly. I know that I will only get through it when I face it.
#20: LOVE: How it Shows Up in My Life
#21: Write the Title to Your Memoir
It took a lot of self-love to put out my book “5 Steps To Fabulous: Choices for Living Beautifully, Inside and Out!” It is the story of how I got to where I am today. I know another book (or several) will follow as I still have much to learn and hope to share with others.
One of the most enjoyable things that I do now as an adult -and takes me back to golden childhood memories- is snuggling up in bed with my children and watching Saturday and Sunday morning cartoons (old school cartoons). My parents did that with my brothers and I as children. They both worked full time so those mornings were spent catching up and planning on spending quality time during our weekend. Priceless.
