Fair Trade Delivers GOODNESS In A Box, Literally!

As a social entrepreneur, I am always happy to share about organizations who are doing social good, while providing amazing products.

I was happy to celebrate Fair Trade Month in style with a Fair Trade tote and 6 delicious Fair Trade Certified items from Klout, which included chocolate, quinoa & tea…oh, did I say chocolate?

Fair Trade USA (formerly TransFair USA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the leading third-party certifier of Fair Trade products in North America.

I received a box full of great brands:

@barkthins: snacking chocolate are slivers of indulgently addictive dark chocolate packed with ingredients you can feel good about eating.

@larabar: believes that the foundation of a sound mind, body and spirit is derived from what you eat – and what you eat is most delicious and satisfying when it’s in a whole, natural state.

@steaz: steaz is a family of flavorful, great-tasting, all-natural, organic and fair trade tea-based beverages in three healthy and delicious product lines – iced teaz, sparkling green teas and energy drinks.

@prana: prAna is Sanskrit for breath, life and vitality of the spirit. This ancient word holds great meaning for us, and so we borrowed it for our name. It lifts our aspirations and helps guide our actions towards becoming an evermore socially mindful and environmentally sustainable organization.

@celestialtea: all-natural teas that are good for you and good for the world. Enjoy our herbal, green, wellness, red and chai teas!

@dangfoods: Made from the nutrient-packed copra, or meat of the coconut, their toasted coconut chips are a delicious snack that provides loads of energy. The meat is sliced out of mature coconuts then gently toasted until golden brown with a dash of sugar and salt. The toasting process brings out the natural sweetness of the coconut meat and turns it from white to golden brown.

@neareastdish: I received the couscous. One word: delicious.

Thank you for all the delicious treats and for the social responsibility we can all take part in by supporting Fair Trade.
